Oil and Gas Decom provides Decommissioning Engineering & Decommissioning Execution services.

We have Operations and Decommissioning experience, working both on and offshore, from many projects which allows us to successfully complete Decommissioning Projects within the UKCS and further afield. The experience from each successful project feeds back into the next to complete the cycle.

Our experience is from the early decommissioning stages during late life operations, or at decommissioning the planning and preparation stage. Working on decommissioning estimation and planning. Commencing the Decommissioning Programmes and engagement with all regulatory bodies and their required submissions. We continue with the decommissioning project through engineering, tendering, contracts, execution and closeout.

We Integrate as part of the Operators team at any stage of the project or advise and support periodically as required. At any stage of the decommissioning project across all disciplines or simply manage a package of scope.

Planning for the whole decommissioning project;

Approval for Expenditure (AFE) documentation compilation;

Decommissioning Programme (DP), writing and submission, on behalf of Operators, for approval by the regulatory bodies. Ten Decommissioning Programmes to date;

Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) input and management for the DP;

Comparative Assessment (CA) completion for the DP;

Decommissioning Safety Case preparation for the stages of the project;

Preparation of ITTs, the tender phase, involvement with contracts.

Engineering followed by offshore execution of Hydrocarbon Free. The well abandonment, pipeline and umbilical cleaning, topsides cleaning;

Engineering and execution for preparation of platform removal. Piece small or single lift;

Engineering and execution for leaving the platform cold stacked if required;

Engaging rigs, lift vessels, dive support vessels for all phases. Writing the ITT and scope of work. Documentation and requirements required to bring on location and execute;

Transportation and onshore environmental disposal;

Completion of the Decommissioning Closeout Report to the satisfaction of the governing bodies;

Decommissioning project completion.
